Doug Eoff is the principle consultant of Techpopuli, a company conceived to help people maximize productivity through minimalistic technology. Before Techpopuli, Doug was head of North American IT for Suzlon Wind Energy, where, over seven years, he built a performance managed IT group and scalable infrastructure that saw the company grow from a few people in an office suite, to five hundred employees, twenty five branch office locations, a manufacturing plant and one thousand four hundred networked Wind Turbine Generators, monitored 24/7.

Previous to Suzlon, Doug worked at Techpace Inc. as a technology consultant developing turn-key solutions and providing advanced customer support. As an experienced leader of IT in a variety of business types, from Original Equipment Manufacturers, and Strategic Business Units, to Local Small Businesses, his diverse experience includes work for a Private Investigation firm (developing a customer facing case management system), Print Media Group (modernizing systems of small publications), and Broadcast Equipment Provider (developing an inventory management system).

Doug began his Information Technology career in the U.S. Army as a Top Secret Telecommunications Specialist, where he first learned the importance of simple, no nonsense networks capable of operation in the harshest of conditions.  He lives in the Chinatown neighborhood of Chicago with his wife and dachshund.
